Our Chairperson

Mrs. Sana Khan

Mrs. Sana Khan has been serving as the Chairperson of the Rahat Welfare Foundation since 2010. She earned her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Himalayan University,Uttarakhand and mass media south delhi polytechnic which laid the foundation for her commitment to social causes.

Following her academic achievements, Mrs. Khan embarked on a career in journalism, initially working with Sahara samay, shree news and news 24 and later with another prominent news channel. Despite her success in media, she felt a profound dissatisfaction with her work, driven by a desire to make a tangible impact on the community.

Recognizing the plight of young girls who had to drop out of school due to financial constraints or family issues, Mrs. Khan was inspired to create a meaningful change. This led to the establishment of the Rahat Welfare Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to those in need.

Under her leadership, Rahat Welfare Foundation has significantly impacted the lives of over 3,000 students, helping them achieve their educational goals and paving the way for a brighter future. Mrs. Khan's dedication and vision continue to drive the foundation’s success and its mission to uplift and empower the community.
