About Us

  • Rahat Welfare Foundation(RWF) is charitable trust incorporated in Delhi on 25th February, 2010 with the objective of spreading the universalisation of education throughout India, and especially focusing on raising the living standards of women in India
  • We focus on the empowerment of women and girls because they are disproportionately affected by poverty and discrimination, and suffer abuse and violations in the realization of their rights, entitlements and access and control over resources
  • We started our work with funds raised largely from family and friends as most young organizations do. This was an important part of our journey, which brought in the spirit of volunteering and commitment to the team.
  • “WE HELP WOMEN BECOME AGENTS OF CHANGE IN THE SOCIETY”

What We Do

  • We help companies and foundations implement CSR activities and provide back to the society
  • We provide skills training to people from marginalized sections of the society, especially women.
  • We provide Ration Distribution Schemes to help people achieve food security
  • We help poor widows get pensions from government bodies
  • We provide free medical health check-ups for the marginalized via medical camps
  • We have relief and rehabilitation as a key activity of ours

Our Vision

  • We seek a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and people live in dignity and security
  • Rahat Welfare Foundation is driven by the vision of a world where all women – in particular women from underprivileged backgrounds – enjoy full citizenship, earn a livelihood with dignity and generate wealth and value for all

Our Mission

  • Rahat Foundation’s mission is to equip resource-poor women with knowledge and skills so that they excel as professionals and entrepreneurs, and earn a “livelihood with dignity” in jobs and markets that had traditionally been closed to them.
  • We believe that when women are socially and economically empowered, they become catalysts of change – not just in their own lives, but also in their families and communities
  • This we achieve with the power of education and proper training and development
